Ehime ... aka Gulu, aka El Loco. My Aburo My Brother My Friend, what a wonderful guy you are..., its been a great pleasure and an honour! We travelled a very long road together, right back from our childhood days in Apapa, when you guys lived in Tamadu Barracks and we lived at Child Avenue. I remember those embarassing birthday party photographs, with the 'wexy' outfits our Parents made us wear. I recollect our reunion in UNILAG after a few years apart, picking up where we left off. All those adventures, some just too embarrassing to divulge (e.g. boarding a Molue Bus back from Obalande to Unilag after a night out when we hadn't yet acquired Cars on Campus....... Oops!!) Most poignant in my mind is our last encounter, when you called me several times one bright Sunday afternoon and insisted that we attend an 80th Birthday celebration together. I finally agreed and as usual we made a night of it, culminating in A-Bar. Little did I know that you were actually saying good-bye to me that night. Adieu.... My Aburo, My Brother, My friend, you will be missed ever so much! We all love you, but GOD loves you much more !! Rest well in the bosom of the LORD, and GOD be with you till we meet again!!!
